Types of Trainings AE Offers
Level 1
This introductory training will teach the foundational skills you need to facilitate on the challenge course. Certification teaches the essential “hard” and “soft” skills to safely and effectively facilitate your program. The training will culminate with a written and practical test and is a one year certification.

• introduction to legal liability and risk management topics
Level 2
For those seeking advanced levels of certification. Level two training will last for 6 days, with testing on the final day. This certification is good for 3 years and will provide you with greater experience to enhance your leadership at your course facility.

Challenge Course Manager
Designed for experienced practitioners, course managers, program directors and others in leadership roles with extensive challenge course experience. This course dives deeper into developing and evaluating risk management plans, legal liability, course maintenance and other aspects of course leadership responsibilities. Certification is 4 total days with the last day being a written and practical test. A CCM certification lasts for 5 years.
Level 1 Zip Trainings
Each zip training is custom tailored to your specific location and teaches the fundamentals of safety, operations, ethics, risk management, guiding and daily inspections. This course serves as an introductory training and covers many aspects of canopy/zip line guiding. Training culminates with a written and practical exam and certification lasts one year.
